AAPA devotes considerable effort towards promoting diversity amongst the judiciary and supporting individuals who share these goals. As such, AAPA has created the AAPA Judicial Mentorship Program to provide guidance to members who are interested in becoming judges. Seeking a judicial appointment is a long process and it is never too early to seek out information and advice. This program is open to members of all experience levels and is confidential. If you are interested, please contact the Chair of the Judiciary & Endorsement Committee, Annie Esposito at email@example.com.
AAPA is dedicated to helping the next generation of API prosecutors pursue their career goals. The AAPA Law School Student Mentor Program pairs a practicing or retired prosecutor with a law school student who is interested in becoming a prosecutor. Through this program, law school students receive guidance, advice, and a realistic overview of what life as a prosecutor is really like. If you are interested in becoming a mentor or mentee, please contact Traci lee at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The AAPA High School Mentor Program is designed to help high school students “find their voice”. Through a series of workshops and events, AAPA members teach the mentees valuable public speaking skills and strengthen their self-confidence so that they are prepared to take on all of the challenges of the world after high school. If you are interested in becoming a Mentor or a mentee, please contact Chris Chin at email@example.com.
