Scholarship Programs

AAPA offers scholarships for law students as well as practicing lawyers.

Outstanding Law School Student of the Year

This scholarship is awarded to a law school student who has shown a commitment to serving the API community and demonstrated a sincere interest in pursuing a career in law enforcement. 


To be eligible for consideration:

Applicant must be a currently enrolled law school student and AAPA member in good standing.

CDAA Scholarships

AAPA is dedicated to helping our members continue their legal education.  As such, we offer scholarships for specific CDAA training seminars and workshops to AAPA members in good standing.  Scholarships are now being offered for the following seminars:


  • New Prosecutor Seminar
  • Evidence Seminar
  • Sentencing for Felony Prosecutors
  • AAPA will also consider requests for scholarships for other seminars and trainings on a case by case basis.
