Helping USF Law Students with Resume Writing and Interview Skills

AAPA is always more than than happy to engage with up-and-coming law students who are interested in criminal prosecution, as well as mentor them on essential skills such as resume writing and interviewing.  On July 24, 2017, we were able to accomplish both simultaneously! Together with AACTLA (Asian American Criminal Trial Lawyers Association) and the University of San Francisco School of Law’s Office of Career Planning, Ron Tran (Contra Costa District Attorney), Nichelle Holmes (Contra Costa District Attorney), Marshall Khine (San Francisco District Attorney), and Wade Chow (San Francisco District Attorney) visited USF and conducted mock interviews to prepare law students for their upcoming interviews for future internships and other employment opportunities.  After each mock interview, the attorneys gave constructive advice on the content, format, and delivery of the students’ resumes and interviews. It also provided a great networking opportunity for all. We look forward to working with the future of the legal profession in any way we can!
